Two Step Stool: This traditional Shaker step stool design is a simple, elegant, and very useful piece.  Unfortunately this particular design is terribly time consuming to make, therefore the price is high, and I’ve only made them as gifts.  My stools are constructed with hand cut dovetail joinery and glue, no other fasteners are used.  Also know as a “two stepper”, the Shakers made many variations of this design to used reach the upper cabinets in the many beautiful walls of cabinetry found in their dwellings.
