Don’s Desk: Another candidate for a signature piece I cannot take full credit for the design of this writing desk with pigeon hole console.  I drew a desk with lots of arcs and my “Ming Shaker” detailing. The customer came back with the design where the curve in the pigeon hole console carries on through the lower drawer frame; that detail makes the piece! I have made this desk in two other sizes. Pictured in cherry with birdseye maple panels and drawer fronts, it has ebonized walnut drawer pulls.
