Oak, Walnut: Two domestic hardwoods that are common choice of my customer. My personal favorite is oak for the smell; I like the color of white oak better than red oak. Walnut has deep brown heartwood and is a favorite because of that; in contrast to oak, however, the smell of walnut dust is one of my least favorites.
