     This bookcase hutch or bookcase credenza is meant to screw to a wall but by changing the design and price a bit I could make something similar as a freestanding piece or room divider.  The hutch, pictured in natural oil/urethane finished cherry, has adjustable shelves above and below.  Click on the following links to see another bookcase hutch in my Ming Shaker Style.  Also pictured are several other hutches including  a contemporary bow-front hutch, and a William and Mary inspired hutch.

    dyed cherry hutch: This hutch has built-in lighting above each shelf.

     

    Ming Shaker Bookcase Credenza: This piece left the office when the law firm decided to standardize all the decor.  The good news was that each lawyer got to buy their existing office furniture at pennies on the dollar.   I modified the top section to be a free-standing bookcase.  I then designed a (nearly) matching base to act as a media center; the original base and the new media center flank a beautiful fireplace with an exceptional view of the ocean to the left.

    Bow-front Hutch: My favorite of my own hutch designs, it has glass doors on top and cherry paneled doors below with ebony pulls and accents.
