Tiger Maple, Curly Maple, Figured Maple: On this page you will find examples of furniture I have made using the aformentioned types of maple. The “Tiger Maple” term refers to a striped appearance. Curly Maple, or sometimes called Blister Maple refers to swirls, splotches or sweeps of figure in the grain pattern.
