Bookcase Credenza: This office hutch or bookcase credenza was designed to compliment one of my Ming Shaker Partners Desks.  It has the Ming Shaker design details, the over/under quarter-round top over base.   Pictured at 6 feet wide by 7 feet high by 21 inches deep,  it is made of cherry with birdseye maple accents.  I would be happy to duplicate or modify the design to suit your particular needs.

Eventually the law firm where this hutch first lived was restructured.  The new entity decided to standardize all the firm’s furniture; unfortunately they didn’t choose me to make the new furniture.  I am sure it was only because it would have taken me more than the rest of my life to finish the two hundred plus offices.  Individual lawyers got to take their old, mostly custom furniture home but this lawyer had no use for another hutch.  Therefore  I converted the  hutch in the photo into a separate free standing bookcase made from the top and also got to make a fraternal twin for the base .   The  twins now occupy opposite sides of a fireplace.  One is for general storage and the other, younger twin, acts as a Media Center.  Photos of the new home are included below the photo of the original bookcase hutch.
