Chairs, Benches, Stools: Windsor chairs, benches and stools, Shaker chairs, benchers and stools, Thos. Moser (where I worked from 1980 to 1986) seating: my Contemporary Windsor Chairs, Stools and the Bowback Bench are influenced by all three and fit well with many decors. The TLB Chair design shows mission influence. The Transition Dutch Chair with Spanish Feet is a copy of a chair a customer presented; indeed I have copied several other challenging chair designs for customers who couldn’t find them elsewhere, but this is the only one that was professionally photographed. Go to the “amateur” photo catagory of my website: http://jasbecker.com/categories/amateur-photos-custom-furniture-projects/ or directly to the photo links below to see some other examples of chairs and benches I have made. The “Olney” Chair is a photo of the unfinished frame of an Italianate Chair with upholstered seat and carved back and legs. The order included two arm chairs and four side chairs. This is a photo of the unfinished frame of one of the side chairs. The Glass-Top Dining Table and Chairs were part of a whole house full of furniture I designed and built. The customer wanted Mission style furniture throughout. The Rocking Chair was my first attempt at such a design and lacked a headrest which I think is necessary to a comfortable rocking chair. The 6 Foot Bowback bench shows a larger version of my most popular item; this contemporary Windsor Bench is a customer favorite. The Contemporary Windsor Arm Chair is was designed and built to compliment my Contemporary Windsor Side Chair but has not yet been professionally photographed.
